Vidders, link your catalogs!

vidrecsIn relation to this post about the upcoming new-to-you vidwatching challenge (details forthcoming !), several people have mentioned that it would be very useful to have some sort of resource post for finding new-to-you vids. I have a lot of links in mind for that, which I'll put up separately eventually (and ask for your input, of course!) However what I think would be amazingly helpful to people browsing for new vids is to create a list of vidders' catalogs for easy browsing. However, for myriad reasons, I'd rather not create this list myself.
Therefore, vidders, PLEASE LINK TO YOUR VID CATALOG in the comments to this post! Everybody should be able to comment, whether you have a DW or not--anon commenting is enabled, just make sure you leave your name so I can actually link to you. Please leave 1) whatever name you'd like to use (your username, your vidding handle, whatever), 2) a plain link (not html) to your catalog, 3) optionally, in parentheses you can also include a list of the fandoms you've vidded in, which I will note after your name, to facilitate browsing. For example, my comment will look like this:

I will then collect the links and format and put up a separate post (which will be frequently updated, however often people add their links) with the list, probably with vidders listed alphabetically (we'll see). Link to a masterpost on your DW or LJ, your vid tag on DW or LJ, your Youtube page, your page on any other streaming site, your website--wherever you want to link. All vidders are emphatically encouraged to do this--any vidder who wants to, whether you've made 1 vid or 150, whether you vid in one fandom or 50 separate ones, whether you participate in this comm or not. The more people who do it, the more useful it will be.
Link your catalogs! Tell your friends to link their catalogs! It's not self-promotion, it's a benefit to the community! Do it! (Though obviously only if you want to.) But seriously, I'm kind of excited when I imagine what an awesome resource this could be for finding vids.
